About this position:

Geronimo Energy is seeking an intern to join its Human Resources team for the summer of 2019. She or he will perform daily Human Resources functions, lead specific projects that have a real impact on the firm, and present on their experience to Geronimo leadership staff at the end of the summer. Through the hands-on nature of this internship, the individual will walk away with “real world experience” and a better understanding of HR’s role in a company and the renewable energy industry.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruiting coordination:
    • Drafting job descriptions
    • Uploading job postings.
    • Screening resumes.
    • Setting up interviews and possibly making calls to candidates.
  • Onboarding tasks.
  • Assisting with the summer review process.
  • Assisting with the annual company retreat.
  • Managing Human Resources SharePoint site.
  • Coordinating functions of a potential office move.
  • Researching policies and procedures.
  • Additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Compensation

$15 per hour, 40 hours per week.
