About this position:

Geronimo Energy is seeking an intern to join its Commercial team for the summer of 2019. She or he will perform tasks essential to success of the company as they assist the Director of Origination in identifying and securing new power purchase off-takers (customers) for Geronimo Energy. The work of this intern will have a real impact in the firm, and the intern will present on their experience to Geronimo leadership staff at the end of the summer. The individual will walk away with developed skills in power markets, commercial structures, identifying customer needs and solutions, communication and team work, and a better understanding of the ins and outs of the renewable energy industry and markets.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the identification of potential new customers
  • Assisting with key account management activities for existing customers
  • Actively participate in the execution of commercial and go-to-market strategies for new market segments
  • Actively participate in Commercial weekly meetings and across other departmental meetings as applicable
  • Act as a liaison with all subject matter experts to support commercial activities
  • Manage and support CRM database through updating and reporting
  • Assist with memo’s and reporting to Executive Management
  • Administrative support activities, such as customer outreach, preparation for events and customer meetings, as applicable.

  • Seeking a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree(s) in Business, Economics, Finance, Public Relations, or Renewable Energy

Compensation

$15 per hour, 40 hours per week.
