About this position:

Geronimo Energy is seeking an intern to join its Real Estate team for the summer of 2019. The ideal candidate will have an interest in real estate, paralegal work, contract management, or lease accounting. She or he will contribute to data-driven decisions for the organization. At the end of the summer, they will present on their experience to Geronimo leadership staff. Over the course of the internship, the individual is expected to grow in technical skills, learn about real property, agricultural industries, property, contracts, and renewable energy.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and enhance data verification.
  • Use technical skills to successfully navigate various software systems (Landworks LPM, Mapping Software, GIS, and more).
  • Provide real estate support for wind and solar energy projects.
  • Data entry, audit and clean up as needed.
  • Identify and suggest ways to improve data entry and agreement intake process.
  • Create ideas for visual reporting and data analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation new landowner payment solutions.

  • Experience and interest developing reports and visuals from raw data.

Compensation

$15 per hour, 40 hours per week.
